A Passion for Seafood

Mike Warner is an artisan fish seller and author based in Suffolk and the sea has been a part of his life for over forty years. Mike has a self-professed passion for everything living within the shallow waters around Britain and seeks to reclaim some of the lost heritage of our modern fishing industry by looking back at how previous generations lived and worked with the sea. Based near Woodbridge Mike provides sustainably and responsibly caught seafood to The Angel Inn.

Brindisa

With a name inspired by the Spanish word ‘brindis’ - to raise a glass in toast, Brindisa have allowed Britain to celebrate the exquisite cuisine of Spain for over thirty years. Founded by Monika Linton in 1998 Brindisa sought to bring Spanish gastronomy to the UK and by bringing the finest Ibérico meats, charcuterie, and much more to the table Brindisa helped to create a foundation of Spanish foods within British gastronomic culture.

Woodbridge Tide Mill

One of the few remaining tidal mills left in the world producing flour, Woodbridge Tide Mill uses an age-old tradition of grinding flour in one of the most sustainable methods available. Using the whole grain and using no improving agents, preservatives or additives means that nothing is added or taken away leaving the natural grain to be used in full capacity.
