Frequently Asked Questions


 
  • Children aged 13 and over are welcome to dine and/or stay in the hotel. We are not able to cater for or accommodate children under 13 years of age and we do not offer any child menus or child portions.

  • We do not have a required dress code although many of our guests choose to dress smart casual. We do not permit shorts in the restaurant or flip flops in any of our public spaces.

  • We regret that dogs are not permitted in any part of the restaurant, other than guide dogs. However we do have 1 dog friendly room and they are allowed in our small bar area.

  • We regret that we are not able to cater for vegan diets and we have no vegan options. However, we always have a vegetarian option available.

  • We can cater for groups up to 25 persons when booked in advance. Groups of 7 or more may choose the short or full tasting menu for the whole table but not the a la carte menu.

  • We have private parking for our guests which you can access from the main road. We also have electric charging points available for our guests.

  • We regret that guests cannot bring their own wine into the restaurant or garden courtyard. However, we have an excellent selection of wines, and our sommelier will be happy to assist you in selecting the perfect choice of wines to compliment your menu selection.

  • Yes, we have our bar & lounge area, an in the summer we have our lovely garden open

  • We ask which menu you would like at the point of booking but we are normally able to accommodate a change of choice if you tell us upon arrival. Please note that for tasting menus, the whole table must choose the same menu.
