Welcome to the Angel Inn, Suffolk
Packed full of character, The Angel Inn is a traditional Grade II 16th century Suffolk coaching inn with open fires, original brickwork and oak beams. It is a typical “Old English” country pub offering fantastic food in a stunning setting with six beautifully styled boutique bedrooms, all set in the heart of Constable country.
The Angel Inn has undergone a full refurbishment to create a relaxing friendly atmosphere with a comprehensive selection of international beers, regional cask ales, wines from around the world coupled with at-the-bar light refreshments and full a la carte menu; in fact everything you would expect at an English pub.
Heading up the kitchen is chef duo Adam Pickard and Jamie Robinson, both rising stars of the culinary world. Delivering modern British cuisine these two chefs confidently fuse the finest ingredients with adventurous flavours to create exciting and inventive menus that change regularly to reflect the seasons. Our kitchen is open every day and serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner as well as delicious Sunday lunches.
Our six beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms have recently been restyled to offer a really boutique feel and are ideal if you are looking for overnight accommodation Suffolk or a base to explore this stunning part of Constable country.
